During the height of COVID-19 restrictions, I was lucky enough to have a job as media lead and Facilities with 15 others at Camp Cross CDA. We would isolate together on property and work together to tackle a list of facilities issues and also dreams, taking the best possible care of Camp to prepare it for future Campers. My job: Capture all facilities progress, worship services, fun skits and use Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, Youtube and email to show the progress. Under the The Director of Camp Cross, along with the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane, I was given the tasks of directing, filming and editing weekly Church services hosted by camp staff such as readings, sermons, songs. I was also taksed with keeping all facilities progress up to date on the social medias to show everyone that we were still actively working on camp despite having no campers. The staff and myself also came up with the idea of weekly fun update talk show style videos called camp casts that are targeted towards the campers that would have been there and covering all updates and stories in a fun goofy manner.
